The Visionary faculty lies hidden in plain sight - reason was always a special form of intuition. For true intelligence to be possible, we must engage the imagination - engage the imagination and then distill it through practice. When we hone our visionary imagination to the stage where we can place ourselves in situations outside of our immediate experience, yet sustain our presence there, we can use it to gain understanding. To go from the known into the unknown. Understanding is the seat of the sciences - and so, imagination - properly honed, is the key to true science. Imagination is what makes us intelligent.
